Newton Village is gearing up for a significant transformation with the commencement of its highly anticipated $20 million expansion project.

This expansion, which includes space for new stores, a childcare centre, gym, and various dining options, is set to elevate the shopping experience for both local residents and visitors.

Owned and operated by Western Sydney developer Revelop, Newton Village has recently undergone a $10 million upgrade of its main shopping centre building.

This initial renovation served as a precursor to the grander expansion plans, and it has already attracted substantial interest from local and national retailers eager to establish their presence in the precinct.

The new complex, situated adjacent to the existing building, will feature over 3,000 square meters of additional retail space. This expanded area will be enclosed by a striking perforated metal screen facade, which will have either a copper or brass finish.

When asked about the inspiration behind the facade design, a representative from Revelop stated that “the desire [was to create] a bold landmark statement that was sculptural in form and something [for the community] to remember/identify with. [We want it] to resonate with the community and leave a lasting impression.”

Revelop says community feedback on the completed portions of the project has been overwhelmingly positive. The community has expressed their excitement both in person and through various social media platforms, showcasing their support for the development and its positive impact on the region.

Revelop is equally enthusiastic about the next phase of the project. “We are very excited to see this final stage of newton village come to life and underpin this centre as the landmark and go to retail centre the Campbelltown region,” shared a representative from the development company.

The expansion is expected to be a significant boon for the City of Campbelltown community, providing enhanced retail options, childcare services, and dining experiences.

“Retail developments are really community focused and the growing Campbelltown community deserve a centre they can own and be proud of,” commented Revelop.
